Description: Known for their flowing frog foot-like polyps and stony base, these corals are incredibly popular for their anemone-like flowing tentacle movement without the risk of relocation within the tank. Their polyps extend mostly during the day as Zoozanthellae provide the majority of their food. Occasional feeding of Mysis/Brine Shrimp is recommended. They prefer medium/moderate water flow. Strong flow will encourage sweeper tentacles to extend and prevent full tissue expansion.

They are also known as good water quality monitors. Even though they are pretty hardy, they will not extend their polyps fully when water parameters are not ideal. 

Use caution when housed with soft corals, particularly Sinularia, as they are particularly sensitive to their secretions. Additionally, allow adequate space for growth and for sweeper tentacle extension. Otherwise, they may harm nearby corals.

Approx. Size: 1 OR MORE Heads per Frag (roughly the size of a golf ball on a tee per head). Due to the rate these grow in my tank, you may get lucky and receive a frag with 2-4 heads on it for no additional charge. 

Care and Recommendations:  

• Lighting: Medium (100 PAR) Recommended.
• Flow: Moderate Variable Flow
• Care: Easy to Moderate. Delicate skin is sensitive to damage. Sweeper Tentacles can damage other corals in close proximity. Sensitive to water parameter changes.
• Feeding: Most food obtained via Zoozanthellae. However, they benefit from periodic feedings of small Mysis/Brine Shrimp.
